VEX Robotics is educational robotics for everyone. VEX solutions span all levels of both formal and informal education with accessible, scalable, and affordable solutions. Beyond science and engineering principles, VEX encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving.
At VEX, we envision a world where every student has the opportunity to be inspired by the excitement of hands-on, minds-on STEM learning and the feeling of creating something with technology. Here are some other amazing effects of teaching and learning with educational robotics:
Understanding our world more fully
Integrating STEM education in novel ways
Developing computational thinking
Becoming comfortable with iteration
Valuing the importance of learning from failure
Learning about jobs of the future
VEX IQ is a robotics platform designed to transform the STEM learning paradigm for young students and their teachers. When students have the ability to jump right in and snap robots together using this intuitive tool-less system, it can unlock a curiosity and a passion that will stay with them for life.
The development of the V5 System began with a mantra: “Simple.. Flexible.. Powerful.” Take your VEX EDR robot to the next level. Includes all necessary components to get started with the V5 System; Programmable with VEXcode; Designed to scale.
VEX India Championship is a national level competition in India, presented by Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation is the Robotics Competition for Grade 3rd to 9th (Ages 8-15).
The Competition held for the below group of participants.
1. VEX IQ Challenge for Elementary School Division is for (Grade 3rd – 6th )
2. VEX IQ Challenge for Middle School Division is for (Grade 7th – 9th).
Every year students from all over India participate in the VEX India Championship and challenge themselves in a fun and interactive game setting while engaging in a thought provoking, multidisciplinary, STEM activity. Throughout the design process, participants activate critical thinking skills while exploring the relationship among science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to produce a dynamic robotics product, in addition to STEAM the students acquire skills such as project management, presentation skills, teamwork, leadership, PR and much more. The Winner of the competition qualifies for the VEX Robotics World Championship held in the USA each year in mid April.
Learn MoreThe VEX Robotics competition prepares students to become future innovators with 95% of participants reporting an increased interest in STEM subject areas and pursuing STEM-related careers.
