ARK Infosolutions at ABIS 2026: Broadcast & Media Technology

Asia's Broadcasting & Infotainment Show (A.B.I.S.) 2026, formerly known as Broadcast India Show, took place from 22 to 24 October at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The exhibition brought together broadcasters, production professionals, filmmakers, technology manufacturers and system integrators.

At Booth C01, ARK Infosolutions presented nine technology brands: LiveU, AJA Video Systems, EIZO, LaCie, HighSecLabs, VuWall, Cooke Optics, OConnor and Litepanels. Visitors explored new product introductions, India debuts and equipment demonstrations spanning live transmission, broadcast infrastructure, monitoring, storage, secure AV and cinematography.

The booth also gave production house owners, photographers, content creators and broadcast professionals an opportunity to discuss equipment choices and project requirements with the ARK team.

Here are the key products and technologies featured during the three-day exhibition.

EIZO: First OLED Addition to the ColorEdge Family

One of the key moments at A.B.I.S. 2026 was the launch of the EIZO ColorEdge CG3200X, the first OLED model in the ColorEdge family. Gaurav Gupta, Director at FWX, and Rohan Chahande, Managing Director at EIZO, inaugurated the launch.

The QD-OLED monitor brings advanced contrast control, HDR performance and colour-management capabilities to professional monitoring. For colourists, editors and cinematographers, it adds another option for colour-critical work and HDR content production.

EIZO also presented the CG2400SV and CG1, giving visitors a look at its professional display range for broadcast monitoring, colour grading and mastering.

AJA Video Systems: FS8 and OG-FiDO-4 Make Their India Debut

AJA Video Systems brought several developments in broadcast signal processing and IP video to the exhibition. The FS8 and OG-FiDO-4 family made their India debut following their global unveiling at IBC 2026.

Visitors could also explore AJA's BRIDGE LIVE, Ki Pro recording systems and Mini-Converters, along with solutions for openGear processing, colour management, streaming and Dante AV.

The range addressed familiar challenges in broadcast facilities: converting between signal formats, extending connectivity over fibre, recording live feeds and integrating SDI equipment into IP-based infrastructure.

LiveU: Field Encoders and Cloud Production

LiveU presented the LU900Q, LU800 PRO, LU300 and Solo Pro, covering different requirements for live video contribution.

From news gathering and sports coverage to events and single-operator streaming, the field units demonstrated how bonded cellular connectivity can help production teams transmit live video from locations with limited fixed infrastructure.

The cloud portfolio, including Studio and Actus, added another dimension to the presentation. Studio supports cloud-based live production, while Actus provides content monitoring and analysis. Together, the technologies offer broadcasters options for managing live content beyond the field contribution stage.

LaCie: Storage for High-Volume Creative Work

LaCie's 8big Pro5 was a key product on display. The eight-bay desktop RAID solution features Thunderbolt 5 and enterprise-class drives, catering to production environments handling large video files and demanding storage workloads.

The brand also presented its 1big, 2big Dock and Rugged Series. These products cover different needs, from desktop storage and RAID configurations to portable drives for photographers and production crews working on location.

The range demonstrated how storage requirements vary between field capture, editing workstations, backup and larger media projects.

HighSecLabs: Keeping AV Connections Secure

HighSecLabs presented secure AV distribution and meeting-room technologies, including media diodes, videobar and webcam diodes.

These products are designed for environments where audio, video and USB connections need to remain controlled. Hardware-based data isolation helps protect sensitive systems while allowing authorised AV equipment to operate.

The applications extend to secure meeting rooms, enterprise installations and broadcast environments with specific access-control requirements.

VuWall: Managing Video Walls in Control Rooms

VuWall demonstrated its video-wall management solutions for broadcast and mission-critical control rooms.

In these environments, operators often work with several feeds, displays and information sources at once. VuWall's technology helps organise content across video walls and operator screens, giving teams a central point from which to manage visual information.

Cooke Optics: Panchro 65/i and S8/i FF Cinema Lenses

Cooke Optics featured two lens series: Panchro 65/i and S8/i FF.

The Panchro 65/i series is designed for large-format cinematography, bringing the established Cooke image character to a larger image circle. The S8/i FF series is built for full-frame production, combining the Cooke Look with natural skin tones, refined depth of field and reduced flare.

Both series offer cinematographers options for different sensor formats and creative requirements across film, television and commercial production.

OConnor and Litepanels: Camera Movement and Lighting

The joint presentation featured the OConnor Ultimate 2575E Platinum Edition and Litepanels Gemini 2x1 Hard and Soft fixtures.

The OConnor fluid head is designed for precise balancing and smooth camera movement, supporting operators working with professional cinema camera setups.

Litepanels demonstrated its Gemini fixtures for studio, broadcast and location lighting. The Hard and Soft versions give production teams different lighting characteristics for interviews, programmes, commercial shoots and cinematography.

Together, the products covered two essential parts of a camera setup: stable movement and controlled illumination.

Three Honours at the Digital Studio India Awards 2026

A.B.I.S. 2026 was also a significant occasion for ARK Infosolutions at the 10th Annual Digital Studio India Media & Entertainment Awards, held at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai.

ARK received three recognitions:
